I was hoping it would be that old place located in an old production hall, but it turns out they've had a new location for some time already. It's modern, but that's fine. The food is tasty and the service is great.

Fantastic food! Who would have thought one could find such good Italian food in Germany?! Also very reasonable price for such delicious and filling meals! Two other restaurants on the same strip were several euros more and a more limited menu than there; I can't imagine their food could possibly be better then AL Lido!

Really nice restaurant, with authentic and friendly staff. Food is really good, the tortellini is excellent! Well visited restaurant that doesn't get overcrowded. Modern settings with an authentic feel to it. Well worth a visit!

Best authentic pizza you will find in Hamburg. Incredible ingredients, and soft dough. Convenient scenic location near the Elbphilharmonie. I go here every time I visit for work and order to go - pizza is ready in less than 10 minutes. Prices are great. They also have tons of seating space and being a bit outside of the city (but walkable distance) it's usually less busy than most other places.
